Gregory Michael Riley

Gregory Michael Riley, a cherished spouse, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on May 4, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on December 27, 1957, in Indianapolis, Gregory led a life characterized by dedication to both his family and his profession as a co-owner of a retail shop.

Greg attended college, setting the groundwork for a career that would see him actively contribute to his community through his retail enterprise. Beyond his professional achievements, he was deeply beloved by his family and friends.

On July 17, 1988, Greg married Myra Weiss Riley, a partnership that blossomed into a nurturing family environment. Together they raised four children: Jeff Linkon, Stacey Linkon-Katz, Shoshanah Riley, and Shawron Riley. He was the proud father-in-law of Sarit Linkon, Yoav Katz, Jason Tapp and Michael Pauley, and the devoted grandfather to eleven grandchildren: Stav, Tal, Aviv, Gil, Dan, Hunter, Eva, Madelyn, Lylia, Landon, and Stephen. Each grandchild brought immense joy to his life, and he delighted in participating in their experiences and milestones.

Greg is also survived by his siblings, Carol Barber and Robert Riley and sister-in-law LuVerne Riley, who will remember him for his warmth and humor. He was preceded in death by his brother Steven Riley and his beloved parents, Charles and Margaret Riley, whose influence shaped the man he became.

In this time of remembrance, Greg Riley's impactful contributions and meaningful connections will be honored and celebrated among those who knew and loved him. His legacy is one of family values, community spirit, and heartfelt connections that will endure. Funeral services are Monday, May 12th, at 11:00 a.m. at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary, 11411 North Michigan Road. Burial will follow in the Congregation Beth Shalom section of Carmel Cemetery, 1000 N. Range Line Road, Carmel, IN.
