Jonathan Derickson

G. “Jonathan” Derickson, 65, of McCordsville, IN, passed away on July 30, 2024. He was born on July 15, 1959, to the late Richard and Mabel Derickson (Deatherage) in Cincinnati, OH. Jonathan was raised in Ryland Lakes, Kentucky, where much of his beloved family still resides.

Jonathan was a straightforward, quick-witted individual who loved to bake, crochet, travel, and spend time with his loved ones. He was always quick to help anyone in need, offering his support and kindness without hesitation. Jonathan is survived by his beloved husband of 20 years, Jeremy M. Newman; his siblings, Jennifer Silva, Rusty Derickson, and Shaler Derickson; four nephews; four great-nephews; two great-nieces; and one great-great-niece. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
