Gluche Williams Jr transitioned from this life on March 3rd, 2024 at his home. 

He was born on February 23rd, 1950 in Osceola, Arkansas to Gluche Williams Sr. and Leola Williams, both parents preceded him in death. Gluche was one of nine children. His siblings, Onie Williams, Linda Covington, Patricia Springer, Danny Williams, and Charlotte Hubbard, all preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his long time companion, Betty Walker. 

Gluche spent his early years in Missouri, where he met Jeanette Williams. The couple married on July 10th, 1968. To this union, one child was born. 

He lived in Milwaukee, WI before moving to Chicago where he lived the majority of his life. He spent the last few years of his life in Indianapolis, IN.

Gluche professed Christ as his Lord and savior at an early age. He was baptized in Milwaukee, WI by Reverend Leon Herron. 

Gluche was a man full of wisdom, strength and courage. He was a very patient and understanding man. He touched the hearts of so many during his lifetime. 

Gluche worked at Schwinns Bicycle Company in Chicago, IL and Danly Welding as a welder. 

Gluche enjoyed fishing, as well as watching basketball and football games. Many people knew not to bother him when his games were on. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Gluche leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Farrie Bright and Isabella Williams of Indianapolis, IN, and Pearlie George of Sikeston, MO; wife, Jeanette Williams of Sherwood, AR; daughter, Denise Williams Middlebrook of Jacksonville, AR; three grandchildren, Sigurney Kirby, Melanique Middlebrook and Denaissa Middlebrook; four great-grandchildren of Conway, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

Services will be held Saturday, March 16th at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary, 11411 North Michigan Rd, at 2 PM.
