Glenn Schmucker

Glenn Schmucker of Indianapolis, age 90, was born April 1, 1936, in Nappanee, Indiana, and passed away on April 28, 2026. He was the husband of Irmalou, with whom he shared over 68 years of marriage. Glenn dedicated nearly 40 years to teaching physics and chemistry at North Central High School in Indianapolis, where he was also a baseball coach and a respected mentor to generations of students. He is survived by his wife and children: Randy (Connie), Deb, and Doug.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary, 11411 N. Michigan Road, Zionsville, Indiana. Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the service to follow at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Indiana Youth for Christ or Eagle Creek Park Foundation (Indianapolis) in his honor.
