Gerald Lee Kelly

January 28, 1947 — May 16, 2025

Gerald Lee Kelly, 78, Brownsburg, Indiana has peacefully left the planet. “Kelly” was one of the hardest workers. Starting his work career as a bag boy at Kroger to retiring as a diamond jeweler at Herff Jones after 38 years.

Kelly was famous for name that tune, jeopardy, history, and current events. If you were lucky enough to have received a note on a paper plate taped to your car to "watch the walkers", you knew it was gonna be a good day.

He had a love for classic cars, country music, and writing notes. His most recent interest was David Letterman. Kelly loved to garden and was especially proud of his hot peppers, maters, and sunflowers. His sense of humor was unmeasurable.

Gerald is proceeded in death by parents, Norman and Hazel Kelly; sister, Shirley Cossell Jackson; brother, Dennis Kelly; brother, Tim Kelly; and sister, Betty Petty.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, one brother, one sister, two daughters, three grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, Willow girl, and many more loved ones.

No calling or services. His last words were, "thank you, thank you very much".
