Gail Ann Oldham

August 25, 1954 — January 21, 2024

Gail Ann Oldham, 69, of Indianapolis, passed away January 21, 2024 at Northwood Village in Kokomo. She was born on August 25, 1954, to the late Robert Gordon and Beverly Cohen Yaver in Indianapolis, Indiana. Gail graduated from North Central High School and married Steven K. Oldham on Dec. 6th, 1975 at the Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation, before going on to manage the Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation’s gift shop. She was also a stay-at-home mom of two children, Jennifer and Joshua. She had several jobs throughout her life, from restaurant work, retail management, administrative positions and was the Photo Lab District Manager for Central Kroger. She retired from Kroger in 2013. She dedicated her life to her family and will be remembered as a loving mother and friend.

She loved music, attended several concerts, had many cats in her life and would never let a stray cat go hungry, enjoyed taking vacations and shopping in the hot deserts of Palm Springs and Las Vegas, and above all spoiling her kids.

She is proceeded in death by her adoptive grandmother and grandfather, Ester and Benjamin Cohen; her birth mother, Beverly Cohen, birth father, Gerald Rapoport, adoptive father Robert Gordon, brother, Glen Gordon, and others.

She is survived by her children Jennifer (Trevor) and Joshua Oldham, her sister-in-law, Judith Ayers Gordon, her half-sister, Melissa Rapoport, and many cousins and others.

Memorial service to be held in Lafayette, IN at Jennifer’s home, February 17th, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Please email gaoldhammemorial@gmail.com for address.
