Etya (Blank) Bachkurinskaya

Etya Bachkurinskaya,

91, of Indianapolis, passed away May 15, 2021.  She was born in Moldova on October 8, 1929 to Joseph and Fanya Blank.  Etya was a Pediatrician and practiced in Moldova and Eastern Europe while traveling with her military husband, Lev.

Etya is survived by her daughter, Lyudmila Rozenberg; son, Igor (Inessa) Bachkurinskiy; grandchildren, Gene (Ashley) Rozenberg, Eric (Anastasia) Rozenberg, Tatyana (Dereck) Duncan, Jessica Bachkurinskiy and Julia Bachkurinsky; and six great-grandchildren; and brother, Leonid Blank of Germany.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Lev Bachkurinskiy; and son-in-law, Mark Rozenberg.

Funeral services will be held at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 N. Michigan Rd., on Thursday, May 20th at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation North Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Holocaust Survivors Fund through Jewish Family Services.
