Ernesto Tangassi Lucio

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved son, Ernesto Tangassi Lucio, who departed on November 10, 2024, in Lafayette, Indiana. Ernesto was born on October 29, 2003, in Monterrey, N.L., Mexico. He was an extraordinary human being, full of affection and a brilliant mind that left a mark on everyone around him. He was always attentive and willing to help others.

Ernesto studied in Mexico for most of his life and graduated from Zionsville Community High School. Currently, he was studying Computer Science at Purdue University, where he continued to pursue his passion for knowledge.

He is survived by his parents, Ernesto and Verónica; his sister Paulina and his brother Diego; as well as his grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who loved him deeply.

A funeral service will be held at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary, 11411 North Michigan Road, on Saturday, November 16th at 2 PM. Friends are welcome to visit from 1 PM until the time of the service. The service will be livestreamed. Click here to view.
