Dr. Savita Jayant Tanksale

Dr. (Mrs.) Savita Jayant Tanksale, 67, of Mumbai, India, passed away on April 6, 2022. She was born in Mumbai to Dr. Parshuram G. Ghotikar and Mrs. Neela P. Ghotikar on Nov 4, 1954. She was a practicing family medicine doctor in Mumbai. She was visiting her son's family in Carmel. She was known to many people in Muncie and Carmel due to her friendly nature. Helping others selflessly was her defining characteristic.

She is survived by her husband Jayant, daughter Shreedevi, son Vinayak and daughter-in-law Amruta, grandchildren Varad and Ira, sister Mrs. Alka Pai and her family, and aunt Mrs. Tanuja Gadre and her family.

Services will be held Saturday April 9, 2022 at A.R.N. Funeral and Cremation Services, 11411 N. Michigan Rd., from 12 - 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, you can donate to a charitable organization of your choosing.
