Dolores Kaseff

Dolores (Frisch) Kaseff passed away peacefully at Hooverwood Nursing Home on June 16, 2024, at age 91. She was born May 21, 1933, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and met Leonard Kaseff, her future husband, there at a wedding of mutual friends. She and Leonard married in 1956 and resided in Indianapolis.

Dolores was an avid baseball fan, rooting for her hometown Cincinnati Reds until she switched her allegiance to the Los Angeles Dodgers as her three children settled in Southern California. She also enjoyed Indiana University basketball, soap operas, and Mah Jongg.

For many years, she was the cheery receptionist at West 86th Street Hair Designs, and she also assisted with the education program at Congregation Beth-El Zedeck, where she was a long-time member.

Dolores was predeceased by her beloved husband, Leonard, who passed away in 1998. She is survived by her three children; Fred (Julie) Kaseff, Lisa (David) Kaseff Zimmerman, and Marla Kaseff, and by three grandchildren; Joshua (Madison) Kaseff, Daniel Kaseff, and Jordyn Zimmerman, who were the light of her life.

The funeral service will take place graveside on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Beth-El Zedeck North Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her late husband.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to any of the Beth-El Zedeck funds would be welcome.
