Danilo “Dany” Lainez Euceda

May 13, 1978 – June 30, 2025

Danilo “Dany” Lainez Euceda, 47, Westfield, passed away peacefully in the early morning of Monday, June 30th, 2025, following a long battle with Liver Cirrhosis.

He was born May 13, 1978 in the Island of Amapala, Honduras, the son of Jose Lainez and Maria Euceda from San Lorenzo, Honduras.

Danilo was a 1996 Rafael de las Mataras High School graduate. Thereafter, he moved to San Pedro Sula City where he worked as salesman then met and married Lesly Mariona in 1999. The couple had two sons, Danilo Lainez Mariona a 2022 IUPUI Graduate, and Daniel Lainez Mariona a 2022 Westfield High School Graduate.

Later, he separated from Lesly Mariona and continued to successfully work in the sales field as a Jonnie Walker representative where he met Elizabeth Gomez. The couple have one son, Dylan Lainez Gomez, still in middle school.

Danilo moved to the United States on October 30, 2016. Due to language limitations, he couldn’t apply his vast sales experience. He instead always optimistically worked in manufacturing. He was constantly rewarded for his due diligence and dedication on whatever task he was assigned until his health started to take a toll on him.

Survivors include sons, Danilo Lainez Mariona, Daniel Lainez Mariona, and Dylan Lainez Gomez; siblings, Lourdes, Liliana, Marilu, Eduardo, Margarita, Omar, JoseAlberto, Yessenia, Juan José and Yvonne Lainez Euceda; nephews; and cousins.

Danilo's last wish was that his ashes be scattered in the ocean. A Celebration of Life will be at 2 PM on Saturday, July 12th in Mercy Road Church, 2381 Pointe Pkwy, Carmel, Indiana 46032.
