Crecensia Bellido

Crecensia Bellido, a devoted mother and grandmother whose spirit was woven into every piece of clothing she crafted, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on September 13, 1956, in the picturesque landscapes of Peru, Crecensia’s life was a tapestry of resilience, creativity, and unwavering dedication to her family.

With a foundational education of only sixth grade, Crecensia embraced life's challenges with tenacity. In her hands, fabric transformed into stories, each stitch imbued with the warmth of her heart. At the close of the twentieth century, she immigrated to the United States and became a U.S. citizen, where she worked in hospitality before retiring to help raise her grandchildren. Through serving and cooking for everyone around her, she expressed her love for her many friends and family.

Crecensia's legacy extends beyond her successful endeavor; she is survived by her beloved children, Ricardo Delacruz and Nelly Chacon, who carry forward the values of hard work and family she so ardently instilled in them. Additionally, her cherished grandchildren, Lilianna Crecensia De la Cruz Hlavek, Daniel Chacon, Yzabella De la Cruz Hlavek, Lucas Chacon, Rocco De la Cruz, and Katya De la Cruz, serve as a testament to the nurturing spirit that defined Crecensia’s life.

She joins in eternal rest her parents, Benigno Bellido Javier and Mercedes Quispe Diaz, whose influence undoubtedly shaped the remarkable woman she became.

Crecensia Bellido, madre y abuela dedicada, que tejió su espíritu en cada blusa que confeccionaba, falleció el 31 de agosto de 2025. Tenía 68 años. Nació el 13 de septiembre de 1956 en el hermoso Perú. Su vida fue un tapiz de resiliencia, creatividad, y dedicación a la familia.

Con una educación fundamental de solo grado sexto, Crecensia abrazo los desafíos de la vida con tenacidad. En sus manos, la fábrica se transformó en cuentas, cada puntada imbuida con su corazón. Se emigró a los Estados Unidos y se convirtió en ciudadana; trabajaba en la industria hotelera antes de jubilarse para ayudar criar sus nietos. Por servir y cocinar a todos alrededor de ella, Crescencia expresó su querer por sus amigos y familia.

La legacia de Crescencia extiende más allá de sus empeños exitosos, ella es sobrevivida por sus hijos queridos, Ricardo Delacruz y Nelly Chacon. Más, sus nietos queridos, Lilianna Crecensia De la Cruz Hlavek, Daniel Chacon, Yzabella De la Cruz Hlavek, Lucas Chacon, Rocco De la Cruz, and Katya De la Cruz sirven como testimonio al espíritu crianza que defino la vida de Crescencia.
