Beth Marie
Chambers
Dec 2, 1931 — Sep 15, 2026
Noblesville, Indiana
Beth Marie Burnham Chambers, 94, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2026. She was born at home on the family farm outside Jewel Kansas, to Ray and Emma Burnham on December 2, 1931.
Beth grew up a farm girl and carried those values of determination, kindness and devotion to family throughout her life. She owned and operated a beauty salon in Jewel, Kansas for several years.
Beth met her future husband, R.A. Chambers while she was working at a salon in Mc Pherson, Kansas. R.A. had come to the salon to install a stereo, and that chance meeting began a love story that lasted more thn 65 years.
Beth was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to sew, cook and babysit (or dog sit). Her home was a place the family could gather and she was always willing to drink one more inch of wine.
Beth was an avid bicycle rider and continued riding well into her 90’s. Her love of bicycling reflected her determination and value for being active at any age.
Beth is survived by her husband, R.A. Chambers; her children, Libby Clements and her husband, Neal; Todd Chambers and his wife, Amy; and Sam Chambers and his wife Stephanie. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Rex Clements and his wife Rachel; Cole Clements and his wife, Kate; Matthew Chambers; Chase Chambers; and Bennet Chambers; her two great granddaughters, Nellie and Rosie Clements; and sister-in-law Roxy Thompson.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joe Burnham.
Her 94 years were filled with dignity, laughter and love of family. She will be deeply missed.
A small family memorial celebration will be held at a later date.
Arrangements entrusted to Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Funeral Home.
