Barbara A. Bernitt Hacker,

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend passed away on March 6, 2024, in Avon, Indiana, at the age of  85.

Barbara was born on January 15, 1939, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

For a time, she worked for a florist and developed a deep love of floral design.  A hobby she maintained throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert K. Hacker, and her son, Robert K. Hacker Jr.

Survivors include her sons, Ronald L. Hacker of Texas and Michael S. (Kasey) Hacker of Pittsboro; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
