A cornerstone in the lives of family, friends, neighbors, and all who turned to her in times of need, Sardarni Balbir Kaur Bal was a true gem to those fortunate enough to know her. She lived each day with courage and fortitude, meeting life’s obstacles with a sense of resilience that was nothing short of inspirational. In her youth, Balbir adapted in the face of adversity, growing to become a strong, independent woman who led her children through shared struggles with commendable resourcefulness and abundant love that shone in the shawls she knitted and the homemade, heartfelt meals she prepared. Above all, she treasured her time with family, enriching our home with vibrant stories from her childhood, insightful guidance that eased our lives, and timeless lessons that not only solved our problems but encouraged us to become the best versions of ourselves. Though Balbir passed away on August 20, 2025, she will live in our hearts as a mother, a grandmother, a friend, and a mentor for many years to come.
