With profound respect and deep sadness, we remember the life of Ashokkumar Gandalal Patel, who passed away suddenly at his home in Atwood, Illinois, on June 19, 2026. Born on July 31, 1968, in Mehsana, Gujarat, India, to his parents Gandalal Jivabhai Patel and Raiben Gandalal Patel who both preceded him in death, Ashokkumar’s life was a testament to family values, resilience, and quiet strength.
Ashokkumar’s journey began in the sunlit fields of Gujarat, where he grew up surrounded by tradition and familial warmth. His early years in Mehsana instilled in him a strong sense of community, compassion for others, and a dedication to those he loved. These qualities remained central throughout his life, guiding every interaction and relationship he fostered.
Ashokkumar’s sudden passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him. He is lovingly survived by his wife Pushpaben his two sons Rajhikant A. Patel spouse Divyaniben R. Patel and Samir A. Patel spouse Stephania Alanis Patel, who remember him not only for his steadfast character and kindness but also for the unwavering support and guidance he provided. His devotion as a family member was evident in his care, generosity, and the deep connections he formed and maintained with each loved one.
Though we mourn Ashokkumar’s unexpected departure, we also honor the unique legacy he leaves behind. His memory is carried forward by those whom he cherished, and his influence will long be felt in their lives and in the broader community he touched through his gentle demeanor and sincere concern for others.

As we gather in remembrance, we hold close the many precious memories and lasting impact that Ashokkumar leaves behind. May his soul find peace, and may his legacy of kindness and love continue to inspire all who knew him.
