Anne "Annie" Werth

Anne A Werth returned home to the beloved arms of God on July 7, 2026. Anne was born on May 24, 1941, in Akron, Ohio to William Ewing and Harrie A. (Kunkle) Rodgers. She was known as Annie by her friends and to her family as Grammie Annie, Grams, Mimi and mom. She lived a life marked by kindness, strength, deep faith, great loyalty and an unwavering love of her family.

Anne's legacy endures through her beloved surviving family members including her daughter, Erin (Matthew) Gahimer, her granddaughter Sage (Dakota) Wogerman, her grandsons Erik (Valerie) Fox, and Samuel Gahimer, in addition to her great grandson Parker Wogerman. Their close knit bond is a reflection of Anne’s loving nature and unwavering strength, leaving many cherished memories and an indelible influence on all their lives. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Harrie, her half-brother William Rodgers, her sisters Mary Erickson and Judy Marks in addition to her beloved son, Erik Karl Mitchell.

Throughout Annie’s life all who knew her, whether family, friends, or neighbors, will remember her lasting kindness, tenacious strength, her loving ways, and her unending zest for life. She always said that life is for the living, and that she truly lived her life. Through the many challenges that came her way she truly earned her favorite moniker, “Warrior Mom” and she showed us all how to be resilient and stay strong while holding on to life’s joys, always staying grateful for our blessings, and to remember that love is all there is! She held tightly to the cross and her lifelong faith until the Lord came to take her back home.

In honoring Anne’s life, her family invites friends and acquaintances to reflect on the fond memories she shared with us all. Her legacy of love, kindness and the lasting impact she made on all those fortunate enough to share in her journey.
