Andris Indriksons

Andris Indriksons, of Zionsville, Indiana, passed away on August 27, 2026, at the age of 83. He was born in June of 1943, in Riga, Latvia to the late Aleksandrs and Elza Indriksons.

Andris built a successful career at Dow Diagnostics and was respected for his professional accomplishments. He received a doctorate degree, an achievement that reflected his dedication and intellect. After retiring early, he embraced the opportunity to travel the world, creating a chapter of life filled with discovery and memorable experiences.

Above all, Andris loved his family. That devotion remained a defining part of his life and will be remembered with gratitude by those who knew him best.

He is survived by his wife, Jean, with whom he shared 49 years of marriage, his daughter Kristina, son David and his wife Kristina and two beloved grandchildren, Eriks and Aldis, along with his brother Karlis and his wife Margaret. He is preceded in death by his brother Janis, husband of Diane. Their lives carry forward his memory, his love, and the example he set through the years.

Andris will be remembered with affection for his accomplishments, his love of travel, his involvement in the Latvian community, and the deep care he held for his family. His memory will remain a lasting presence in the hearts of those who loved him.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 26th at 12pm at the Indianapolis Latvian Community Center, 1008 West 64th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46260.

Contributions in his name may be made to the Latvian Center Garezers or the Friends of the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library.
