Andrea Feaster Huisden Brown, 53, passed away on May 24th, 2026, in her home in Westfield, IN. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina on October 5th, 1972, to Bill Feaster and Cynthia Stafford, Andrea Feaster Huisden Brown was known for her kind soul, humble intellect, and loving devotion to her family.
In 1990, she graduated from Hamilton Heights High School of Arcadia, IN where she was an active member of the marching band and track and field team. Taking her academic prowess, school spirit, and athleticism to the University of Notre Dame classroom, marching band, and track, she earned her bachelor’s degree in 1994. In 2004, she obtained her MBA from the University of Florida.
Andrea lived in Suriname as a missionary from 2009-2012 with her three sons and their father, Max Huisden, where she used her vast knowledge and passion for education to teach language arts at a local school, challenging her students to think critically about the world. She then returned to Indiana where she worked at SMARInsights for 12 years until her retirement in 2024, following her diagnosis of MSA-P.
Preceded in death by her father, LTC John William Feaster (US Army Retired), and mother, Cynthia Babers Stafford. She is survived by the love of her life Dannon Brown, her four beloved sons: Christiaan Huisden, Jack Huisden, Carlo Huisden, and Tyler Brown; brother, Dennis Feaster (Sarah) and their children: Emily, Ben, and Jaiyu; brother, Tom Tran (Jennifer) and their children: Jenny and Johnny; Sister, Felicia Feaster and her son, Addison; and her step father, Steve Stafford (Dianne).
Andrea’s celebration of life took place on January 10th, 2026 and additional service will not be held. In lieu of flowers, please direct any donations to Rock Steady Boxing.
